Dolla Financial Services Limited
Dolla Financial Services Limited was incorporated in Jamaica in 2009 and commenced operations in October 2014. The company is a subsidiary of the private equity investment company, First Rock Private Equity Limited. On June 15, 2022, Dolla Financial Services was listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange following a historic IPO that was 9.5 times oversubscribed. “We lend” is part of Dolla’s ultimate goal to provide progressive financial opportunities to those with vision to succeed. Dolla has been providing easy access to better financial services by serving the unbanked and underbanked population. Our innovativeness has provided efficient solutions in meeting the needs and satisfaction of our customers. Kadeen Mairs
Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kadeen Mairs serves as a Director & the Chief Executive Officer of Dolla Financial Services Limited. He also serves as Director of Dolla Financial (Guyana) Inc., a subsidiary of Dolla Financial Jamaica and Chairman of Dequity Capital Management Limited, an associate stake shareholder of Dolla Financial Jamaica. Mr. Mairs has over 14 years of experience in the financial sector with 6 years at the executive level; working within the Credit Unions, Commercial Banks, Investment Banks, Venture Capital Company and Founding of former Microfinance Institution M24 Investments. He is designated as a Certified Expert in Microfinance by the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany; he has received Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Montego Bay Community College with a major in Management and pursued a Master of Business Administration with major in Marketing from the University of the Technology Jamaica.
Kenroy Kerr

Kenroy Kerr is the Chief Operating Officer at Dolla Financial Services Limited, where he oversees the company's day-to-day administration and operations in accordance with the company's business model. His professional career spans over 13 years of progressive experience in banking and finance, having joined the Bank of Nova Scotia in 2008 where he worked for almost ten years in various capacities.
Following his years with the bank, Kenroy was appointed to the position of Head of Credit and Risk at Dolla Financial Services Limited. His leadership has been instrumental in the development of new loan products that contributed to increased loan growth, and strategies that lowered non-performing loans and optimized the quality of the loan portfolio.
Kenroy holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (distinction) with a specialization in Organisational Development from Aston University, Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies with a major in accounting (honours).
Trevene McKenzie

Trevene McKenzie, Chief Financial Officer
Trevene McKenzie is the Chief Financial Officer of Dolla Financial Services Limited. She joins the team with a wealth of knowledge in financial management, planning, reporting, and analysis garnered from working across various industries such as banking/finance, outsourcing, and telecoms. As the Chief Financial Officer, she provides leadership and oversight for Dolla’s finances as well as monitoring performance against strategy and budget.
Previously, Ms. McKenzie was Head of Finance for Technical and Networks at Digicel Group. She has over 10 years of experience in the accounting field. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Economics. She is an associate member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
Kahlilah Thompson

Kahlilah Thompson is the Human Resources Manager at Dolla Financial Services Limited. Her duties include Recruiting and Staffing, Employee Relations, Policy Development, Managing Staff performance and improving systems. She has over 15 years of experience in the fields of Business, Banking and Hospitality. Ms. Thompson holds a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business Administration from The University of Technology, Jamaica.
Kurt McKenzie

Collection Manager
Kurt McKenzie is the Collection Manager at Dolla Financial Services Limited where he heads and streamlines all processes concerning arrears and delinquency. He is subscribed to ACA International; an association of collectors and credit professionals where he does industry related, ongoing online enhancement courses aimed at improving collection strategies and techniques. Prior to entering the microfinance industry, he led a diverse team in the capacity of supervisor for payroll accounting at a leading BPO firm; Xerox, now Conduent. He holds a degree from The University of Technology, where he majored in Production and Operations.
Kevin Laws

Senior Accountant
Kevin Laws is the Senior Accountant of Dolla Financial Services Limited. Mr. Laws manages the accounting department, reports to the Board of Director, and maintains the financial compliance of the company. He has over 21 years accounting experience in varying sectors including distribution and hospitality industry. Mr. Laws previously worked as an Accountant for Jamaica Pegasus Limited and currently a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
Mario Brown
Country Manager
Country Manager
Mario Brown is the Country Manager at Dolla Financial Services Limited. He is primarily responsible for establishing Dolla’s physical footprint and the attainment of the growth and delinquency targets of the organization which are established by the Chief Executive Officer in keeping with the organization's mission and vision.
Mr. Brown assumed responsibility for the Dolla portfolio after its acquisition of M24 investments of which he is a founding member. He was the Regional Manager and under his leadership, Dolla Financial has grown exponentially with over J$3 Billion in loans disbursed to the microfinance sector and has assisted more than 5,000 Jamaicans.
Mario’s journey to Dolla took him through the commercial banking sector. In 2011, he joined National Commercial Bank as a teller and was promoted to credit officer in 2012. He joined M24 Investments at its inception as Operations Manager. This experience gave him valuable insights into entrepreneurship and management which he would later implement at Dolla.
Mr. Brown holds a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance with Distinction from the University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science from The University of the West Indies with a major in Marketing.
Tricia Nicholas
Governance and Compliance Manager
Governance and Compliance Manager
Tricia Nicholas is the Governance and Compliance Manager of Dolla Financial Services Limited. She oversees Dolla’s Corporate Governance and Compliance activities while working closely with the Board and Senior Management to facilitate good governance and compliance with policies, regulations, and laws. She has over 16 years of legal professional experience in Governance & Corporate law and over 8 years in Commercial & Litigation law. She also acts as the Nominated Officer and is the Recording Secretary for the Company.
In addition, Miss Nicholas has experience in Human Resources, Administration, and Office Management. She previously worked as the Legal Assistant & Team Leader for the law firm, Nicholson Phillips. She was the Company Secretary for the charitable organization, BACK2LIFE Foundation for over 6 years.
Miss Nicholas holds a Level 5 – International UK Diploma in Business Management with The Association of Business Executives and is pursuing her LLB with the University of London. She is currently an associate member of the Association of Business Executives and an affiliate member of the International Compliance Association which she uses to continuously improves her skills and knowledge as a Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance professional.

Tashoni Ellis is the Marketing Manager at Dolla Financial Services Ltd. She joins with over seven (7) years of experience in marketing and sales with a proven record of generating and building relationships, managing projects from concept to completion and designing innovative and creative strategies. She is responsible for creating and accelerating the company’s marketing strategy and brand recognition across the region. She is focused on driving the company’s vision to be the go-to financial solution provider and market leader in the provision of unique financial services, at world class standards. Prior to joining Dolla Financial, Ms. Ellis was a part of the JN Group where her most recent role was Assistant Manager- Marketing Specialist at JN Money Services Ltd. In this role, she had direct oversight for executing marketing strategies and achieving sustainable sale’s growth for Canada and the Caribbean. Ms. Ellis holds an MBA from the University of South Wales in the UK. She also holds a bachelor’s degree with a Major in Marketing and minors in Economics and Management Studies from the UWI.
